The Drug Tarot (CAT)

The Drug Tarot is an illustrated tarot deck created collectively as part of the Conjuros y Colocones project, developed by Christina Schultz together with participants from Metzineres.

This unique edition brings together a series of “archetypas” inspired by different substances and experiences related to drug use. Each card was conceived through a collaborative creative process, in constant dialogue with the project’s participants, resulting in a unique symbolic universe that encourages reflection, exploration and play.

More than a traditional tarot deck, the Drug Tarot offers new ways of interpreting human experiences, challenging stigma and opening conversations from a feminist, community-based and harm reduction perspective.

The archetypas that make up this deck do not represent fixed categories or moral judgments. None is inherently good or bad. Each one embodies strengths, contradictions, desires and vulnerabilities that invite multiple readings and interpretations.

This is a tarot designed both for getting lost and for finding yourself. What it reveals depends on the person who explores it.
