Prohibitionist policies and the patriarchal system continue to violate our rights and criminalize our existence. Once again, we take to the streets to demand social justice and to reaffirm the need to promote anti-prohibitionist policies with an intersectional perspective.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: calibri, sans-serif;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4895 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/metzineres.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/sou-llavor1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"303\" height=\"379\" srcset=\"https:\/\/metzineres.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/sou-llavor1.png 1755w, https:\/\/metzineres.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/sou-llavor1-1229x1536.png 1229w, https:\/\/metzineres.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/sou-llavor1-1638x2048.png 1638w, https:\/\/metzineres.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/sou-llavor1-600x750.png 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 303px) 100vw, 303px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<h3>March through El Raval<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"89\" data-end=\"334\">From our space on C\/ de la Lluna, we began a route with four meaningful stops to remember our friends allies: Pla\u00e7a del Pes de la Palla; C\/ del Pr\u00edncep de Viana; C\/ de Vistalegre (former Metzineres center); and Pla\u00e7a Emili Vendrell.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"336\" data-end=\"525\">Each stop was a political and symbolic act: naming those who are no longer with us, recognizing ourselves as a network, denouncing structural violence, and affirming that we are still here.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"863\">We reclaimed public space through the pillars that sustain us: living memory, community, struggle, and awareness. At each stop, we left our mark with a purple high heel and a lit candle. We read the XADUD statement, placed stickers with excerpts from the text, and took a moment to remember them to the rhythm of their favorite songs.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"865\" data-end=\"982\">Pla\u00e7a Emili Vendrell was the final stage of the march, where we set up an altar with illustrations of our friends allies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"984\" data-end=\"1049\">We continue to remember because you are the seed of our struggle.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4868 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/metzineres.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/B1A0616-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"666\" height=\"444\" srcset=\"https:\/\/metzineres.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/B1A0616-1.jpg 1900w, https:\/\/metzineres.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/B1A0616-1-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/metzineres.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/B1A0616-1-600x400.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 666px) 100vw, 666px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201c<span style=\"font-family: calibri, sans-serif;\"><i>We stand together, fierce and united, because they are the seed from which our roots of love, understanding, and mutual support continue to grow.\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Prou Feminicidis Rally<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"108\" data-end=\"481\">This February, Metzineres joined the <em data-start=\"145\" data-end=\"163\">Prou Feminicidis<\/em> rally at Pla\u00e7a Sant Jaume, organized by the Unitary Platform Against Gender-Based Violence. For the past 20 years, on the third Monday of every month, a gathering has been held to pay tribute to women murdered by male violence in Catalonia and across the Spanish State. Since the start of 2026, the number has risen to 11.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"483\" data-end=\"847\">We joined the event and participated by voicing the XADUD manifesto and by the artistic interventions of Mar\u00eda, Fran, and Luana. We raise them together. <strong>We are seeds<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"164\" data-end=\"285\"><em>A seed that sprouts in every terrain, that grows in precarity. In the open wound of a system that pushes us to the margins.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"287\" data-end=\"374\"><em>Yet it is from the margins that struggles, demands, solidarity, and mutual care emerge.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"376\" data-end=\"456\"><em>We organize and we denounce. We build community where others see only exclusion.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"458\" data-end=\"652\"><em>This day is not a celebration. It is a <strong>demand<\/strong>. It is <strong>living memory<\/strong>.<\/em><br data-start=\"525\" data-end=\"528\" \/><em>It is a collective cry that declares, without doubt and without fear: <strong>our lives matter, our bodies matter, our voices count<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"654\" data-end=\"713\"><em>Our existence is not a mistake: <strong>it is a political response<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"715\" data-end=\"934\"><em>We are the womxn who sustain life in and from the margins:<\/em><br data-start=\"773\" data-end=\"776\" \/><em>womxn who use drugs, migrants, racialized womxn, unhoused womxn, dissidents, sex workers, psychiatrized womxn, criminalized womxn \u2014 all survivors of violence.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"936\" data-end=\"1147\"><em>We are tired of being told that every blow makes us stronger, as if that could legitimize the violence inflicted upon us. No. NOT every blow makes us stronger \u2014 every blow hurts, and we do not want one more.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1149\" data-end=\"1246\"><em>It is we who build our community and networks of care. The threads are woven from our friendship.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1248\" data-end=\"1356\"><em>We demand social justice and human rights. We build safer spaces, practicing harm reduction and mutual care.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1358\" data-end=\"1468\"><em>Today we remember those who are no longer here.
