What emerges when we shift our focus? What stories unfold when we look from a different perspective?

On Saturday, October 24, from 5 to 9 pm, L’Arravalera invites you to an afternoon of art, encounters and experimentation with the opening of “Multivers Tina. Activism and Art. CDMX-BCN (2015–2026)”, as part of Dissabte d’Arravalera S1 E3: “Creating: The Art of Becoming Multiple”.

This collective exhibition brings together more than 20 artists and community activism projects. Across two rooms, artworks, photographs, texts, sounds and archives connect Mexico City and Barcelona: a constellation of experiences that challenge the narratives that confine us and invite us to explore other images, other forms of affection and other ways of telling stories.

What happens when our experiences go beyond the script? Which voices and ways of connecting remain outside the images we have learned to recognise? What if tenderness, embraces and listening could open up new ways of caring for one another?

Multivers Tina invites us to explore these questions, shift our perspective and make room for experiences that go beyond labels and dominant narratives.

An afternoon of becoming multiple

During the opening, the artworks will share space with poetry, tarot, performances, sound experimentation, virtual reality and DJ sets. The exhibition spaces will also open up to whatever unfolds among those who join us.

  • Sound experimentation by Tania Quintana.
  • Poetry reading by Alex Miñarro.
  • Performance by Syrenais Morgana Del Mare.
